Fund the Conversation. Change the Culture.

Help Us Produce Our Next Social Experiment on Black Interpersonal Dynamics

At SISTAH Magazine, we create social experiments that turn real conversations into journalism, film, and community impact.

Through our production series, Our True Colors, we explore the issues shaping Black communities—relationships, identity, economics, gender dynamics, and the tensions we often avoid discussing.

Our next episode focuses on: Black Interpersonal & Relationship Dynamics

ABOUT THE SEGMENT

Does Modesty Breed Commitment?

In a culture that constantly sells hypersexuality as power, we’re asking a deeper question: does modesty influence long-term commitment?

This social experiment brings men from different age groups together to examine attraction, perception, and commitment by comparing how they respond to women with different styles of presentation.

For women seeking marriage, stability, and lasting partnership—does image shape opportunity? And how has media shaped the way Black women are seen, desired, and valued?

This episode challenges perception, sparks honest conversation, and confronts the narratives defining modern relationships.
