Everyday Events Are More Sacred Than They Seem

I used to think that news stories, scandals, and high-profile tragedies were simply random — products of chaos and coincidence. But over time, I began noticing patterns that felt far too intentional to ignore. The algorithm of media consumption seems to serve us not just entertainment, but ritual.

Whether it’s pop culture events, political spectacles, or breaking news, the timing, names, and numbers often align in ways that feel uncanny. We joke about The Simpsons predicting the future, but I’ve come to believe that what we’re seeing is something much deeper: a kind of ritual cycle that plays out before our eyes, shaping how we collectively process good and evil.

One that I have decided to track recently is The Ritual of the Free Man.

Most rituals you will find depicted in the entertainment, news, and political systems stem from Spiritual Sources (well, duh. I did say ritual). You can find many rituals revolving around tarot, the gods, secret societies, and religion.
