Pearl, Purrr, Pussy-that is,
Often over sexualized for
the pleasure it brings
The moisture in between,
Benefiting from its promiscuous means
downplaying the power, possession &
pride it brings,
The seed, the soil
The bearer of Life
James Brown once sang, "This is a Man's World
but it would mean nothing without a Woman"
The nurturer, the healer
Shall we uplift thee,
As Beyonce reminded us,
"Girls, We run the world",
At times taken for granted
Rendered powerless, problematic & pompous,
by those abusive of power
The grown boy lacking qualities of a man
Those envious of the strength built within,
knowing it can't be stripped from us
But it's refined by dignity,
It's the power of The "P" Word...
