The "P" Word

The "P" Word

Pearl, Purrr, Pussy-that is,

Often over sexualized for

the pleasure it brings

The moisture in between,

Benefiting from its promiscuous means

downplaying the power, possession &

pride it brings,

The seed, the soil

The bearer of Life

James Brown once sang, "This is a Man's World

but it would mean nothing without a Woman"

The nurturer, the healer

Shall we uplift thee,

As Beyonce reminded us,

"Girls, We run the world",

At times taken for granted

Rendered powerless, problematic & pompous,

by those abusive of power

The grown boy lacking qualities of a man

Those envious of the strength built within,

knowing it can't be stripped from us

But it's refined by dignity,

It's the power of The "P" Word...
