Today I Release

Today I release —

all things and individuals that disturb my alignment,

not every stretch, but every presence that disrupts my peace without purpose.

Today I release anything that no longer pushes me toward my becoming,

understanding that growth may be uncomfortable,

but misalignment is never the assignment.

Today I release disease and weakness from my physical and spiritual body,

welcoming strength, resilience, and restoration —

even in seasons that ask more of me than before.

Anything not meant to walk with me on this journey,

anything that cannot grow with me,

I leave behind without guilt and without fear.

Today I welcome infinite love, wealth, wisdom, empowerment, happiness, and joy —

knowing that expansion may require disruption,

but my spirit remains intact.

Even when the world around me is unstable,

I remain grounded and humble —

feet firmly planted, rooted in clarity.

My path is clear.

My vision is protected.

Nothing and no one can stop what is divinely aligned.

Ase.

So it is.

Blessed be.

A Note From the Author

This piece lives in the Black Love edition because loving ourselves is the first relationship we ever commit to. February often celebrates romantic love, but self-love is the soil that romance grows from. This affirmation acknowledges that growth may stretch us, disrupt comfort, and require release — yet none of that diminishes peace. It refines it. When we choose ourselves with intention, we become better partners, better friends, and better stewards of love.
